Want to market your work online but can’t afford the expense of designing and hosting a website? Already have a site, but need to drive traffic to it? As a Craft Professional Member of the Ontario Crafts Council we can help you meet your needs through Portfolio of Makers.

Portfolio of Makers on our website makes your work available online to a global audience through a trusted source. This vital resource gets accessed by collectors, designers, organizations, corporations, galleries, curators and the general public. You can use Portfolio of Makers as your personal web page, or it can act as a powerful marketing tool to drive traffic to your existing site. An easy to remember URL address will be used.

We do not return portfolio CDs. Hardcopy documents and slides are not accepted.

Once accepted, your portfolio page will be created and launched live to www.craft.on.ca. This process generally takes about 3 weeks.

All Portfolio of Makers participants are asked to sign an agreement outlining our commitment to marketing your work and your commitment to maintain an up-to-date portfolio. Participants are asked to remit 15% of any successful commissions obtained through Portfolio of Makers back to the Ontario Crafts Council. This remittance is used to sustain the program and offset expenses. This agreement is signed by you and an OCC representative, and remains in effect throughout the duration of your participation in Portfolio of Makers. A contract will be sent to you upon acceptance to the program.
