If you believe, as we do, in the importance of craft and the value of a strong craft community please consider making a gift today. A donation to the Ontario Craft Council, whether large or small, will have an immediate impact on Ontario’s craft community.
Your generous donation plays an essential role and ensures that the Ontario Crafts Council is able to:
• Deliver valuable programs that promote and grow the careers of craft professionals
• Develop exhibitions that arouse curiosity and connect our artists with an interested public, providing the opportunity to celebrate, examine and asses the state of craft
• Produce publications that animate the excitement and relevance of contemporary craft to the forefront of cultural discussion
• Champion innovation, originality, and the highest standard of quality in craft
There are several ways to make a general gift to the Ontario Crafts Council:
1. Online, by clicking on the secure Canada Helps logo above.
2. By mail or fax, via cheque or credit card. Simply print and complete this form (OCC Donation Form). If you prefer to pay by cheque, please make the cheque payable to the Ontario Crafts Council and mail it with your completed form to: Development Office, Ontario Crafts Council, 990 Queen St. W, Toronto, Ontario, M6J 1H1 or fax to 416-925-4223
3. By phone via credit card or for information on making a gift of securities, please call Caitlin Plewes, Development Coordinator 416-925-4222 ext. 222
Outright contributions in amounts of over $20 allow you to receive tax benefits immediately. These include cash contributions, in-kind donations and gifts of shares or publicly traded securities (stocks). Consolidated receipts for monthly donations are printed and mailed by end of the calendar year.
