Welcome to the Ontario Crafts Council’s Portfolio of Makers - an online resource of beautiful works by talented craftspeople.

Portfolio of Makers provides you with a unique opportunity to commission works by some of Canada’s leading designers/makers. Whether you are researching new elements for your latest design project, looking to find that perfect one-of-a-kind gift for a special occasion such as a wedding, or looking for hand-crafted solutions for your home or office décor, this is where it all begins.

Commissioning handmade work is easy, affordable and can be an inspiring and stimulating experience. Participate in this unique service by:

1. Browse through Portfolio of Makers and choose an artist whose style of work captures your imagination.
2. Contact makers directly through their Portfolio of Makers page.

The following works on display through the OCC’s Portfolio of Makers Program are protected under the Canadian and international copyright law and may not be downloaded, reproduced, distributed or otherwise used except for personal, non-commercial purposes, without the express written consent of the craftsperson.

Each Portfolio of Makers Craftsperson posseses the exclusive right to produce, reproduce, publish, perform, exhibit, transmit or retransmit their work by telecommunication, create derivate works, sell, rent, offer for sale or rent, exhibit by way of trade, or distribute the Work in whole or in part. It is unlawful to exercise any of the above rights or to alter or modify the work without the prior written consent of the Craftsperson. Anyone violating the Craftsperson’s rights may be subject to legal action or criminal prosecution.
